ROB PRITCHARD, JD, CPA, CGMA
PRESIDENT / SHAREHOLDER
Rob Pritchard is both a licensed certified public accountant and attorney in Pennsylvania, as well as a licensed attorney in New Jersey.
He divides his time at PBGW between the Strategic Consulting, Accounting Services, and Litigation Support departments. Rob focuses his efforts in the Strategic Consulting Department assisting clients with success planning and financing. In the Accounting Services Department, Rob has extensive experience with the formation and development of partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations, as well as the development of numerous business plans and projections. He assisted in creating U.S. subsidiaries for many foreign entities. As a member of PBGW’s litigation support department, he has experience in both corporate and domestic disputes and has testified as an expert in litigation matters. Prior to joining our firm, Rob practiced bankruptcy, corporate and nonprofit law.
Currently, Rob is a member of the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee for Grandview Hospital.
Rob is a graduate of Washington & Lee University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting. He completed his post-graduate studies at Washington & Lee School of Law. Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), the American Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
JOHN J. HOY, CPA
VICE PRESIDENT / SHAREHOLDER
Jack Hoy has over 20 years of public accounting experience. He provides accounting services and business solutions to closely held and family-owned businesses involved in manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, and service industries. Within the service industry niche, he has developed a specialty working with independent insurance agencies.
Jack is a graduate of Villanova University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Jack is an active member of his community serving as both a Cub Scout leader and Little League baseball coach. He has also held positions on the board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters and was a Big Brother for 10 years. Jack was also elected to serve as an auditor for a local township.
BARRY MORIARITY, CPA, MT
SECRETARY TREASURER / SHAREHOLDER
Barry Moriarity has been practicing public accounting since 1985. His responsibilities include ensuring all aspects of corporate tax compliance, including reviewing all corporate tax returns and assisting the staff in tax planning and tax research. In addition, Barry is responsible for preparing and overseeing federal, state, and local audits and serves as the firm’s primary IRS liaison.
Barry is a graduate of West Chester University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and earned a Master of Taxation degree from the Villanova School of Law. He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and PICPA).
THEODORE L. LANDIS, CPA, CVA, CFP®
Ted Landis has over 30 years of tax, accounting and financial planning experience. This experience includes working with individual’s and closely held businesses to provide a wide range of tax, accounting and consulting services in various industries including agricultural, automobile, truck and equipment sales and service, dealerships, construction, manufacturing, wholesale and retail sales, business and personal services, printing, trucking, auto body, medical, real estate, restaurant, and other business industries.
In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Ted is also a Certified Financial Planner. This has enhanced his ability to provide tax, tax planning, and financial and estate planning services to our clients.
Ted is a graduate of Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Ted currently serves on the PICPA Personal Financial Planning Committee.
ANDREAS L. SCHERFFEL, CPA
Andy Scherffel is a shareholder in PBGW’s Accounting Services Department. He is a licensed certified public accountant with over 20 years combined experience in public accounting and private industry, primarily in the areas of business services, auditing, and taxation. In the accounting services department, Andy works primarily with commercial clients in the areas of manufacturing, distribution, and professional services, as well as merger and acquisition activities and tax / financial planning. Andy has worked to develop international clients with business and individual tax filing requirements in the United States. He is fluent in German and is active with the German American Chamber of Commerce in Philadelphia.
Prior to joining PBGW, Andy worked for a Big Six public accounting firm and in a senior internal auditing role at an international component parts manufacturer.
PAUL YOUNG, CPA
Paul Young has been in public accounting since 1985. He currently provides accounting, tax planning, and compliance services for closely held corporations, partnerships, and tax individuals. He works with companies in a number of industries including general contracting, specialty contracting, quarrying, manufacturing, printing, wholesale distribution, and professional services. He also assists with our audits of not-for-profit organizations including colleges, universities, and churches. Periodically, he assists our litigation department with construction delay claim analyses and forensic accounting services. Paul also serves as a mentor for new hires at the firm. He has an active interest in finance and investing and plans to pursue opportunities in the area of certified financial planning.
Paul is a graduate of Messiah College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and PICPA).
TRACI M. GRONER, CPA
Traci Groner is a Principal at PBGW working in the Accounting Services Department. She has been in public accounting since 1999 Traci provides accounting and tax services to closely-held and family-owned businesses in the service and manufacturing industries. She has also been an integral part of the firm’s technological advancements by taking a lead in learning new accounting packages that increase efficiencies in the way we work.
Traci graduated from Geneva College with a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Finance and Biology, with a minor in Accounting. She is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and PICPA).
